Berkeley County’s New SCORE Office To
Provide Resources, Support To Small Businesses
(Moncks Corner, SC) The Berkeley Chamber of
Commerce announces the development of a SCORE office to serve the needs
of new and emerging small businesses in Berkeley County. The
office, which will be a branch of the Charleston Coastal SCORE office,
is scheduled to open in the Fall and will be housed at a yet to be
determined location in Moncks Corner.
“The SCORE office will be an important
addition to Berkeley County,” says Caldwell Pinckney, Jr.,
President of the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, “currently, local
individuals interested in SCORE services must travel to
Charleston. Now, people in Berkeley County will have more
readily
available access to the resources SCORE provides to small
businesses.”
The SCORE Association, "Counselors to
America's
Small Business”, is a non-profit association of active and
retired business professionals who volunteer to share their expertise
with small businesses and new start-ups. The mission of SCORE is to
help small business grow and prosper.
